Hi everyone! I’m back again with another YouTube video – I enjoyed filming the first one so much I pretty much got straight into filming my next one!
As some of you will know I recently made an order with Sephora and one of the items I ordered was the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I am seriously loving this palette – it’s absolutely beautiful, full of warm-toned shades and perfect for summer. So of course, I had to film a makeup tutorial for you guys!
I’m hoping to keep posting at least one video a week – this is my second this week so i’m going to try my best to keep this up!
Here is a link to the video and I’ve also embedded it below: https://youtu.be/_gFXpjOjiAg
Thank you so much for watching – if any of you guys have a YouTube channel then please leave a link below so I can subscribe to you! 🙂
Hi everyone! If you live in or near London and the Covent Garden area, you may know of the Apple Market in Covent Garden – I have never visited myself but have heard they sell a lovely range of antiques, art, homeware and more. My mom visited there today and picked me up a box of soaps from one of their stalls, M Strand – thank you mom! I believe this is their website if anyone is interested, they sell a large variety of luxurious soaps and they are just beautiful!
I took some photographs to share in case any of you live near to Covent Garden and wanted to check them out yourselves. The box was prettily packaged with paper, ribbon and a tiny flower. I believe you can buy individual soaps too, but the box makes the perfect gift – the presentation is so lovely.
The soaps inside are beautiful, too – they are decorated with tiny flowers and fruit slices and smell amazing. In the box were four different soaps. I have pictured them all together and also individually below:
Aren’t they just beautiful? The packaging says to slice layers from the base, so you get quite a few uses out of each soap. They all smell lovely; the peppermint and orange are refreshing and the floral scented soaps are so luxurious. Although I haven’t used any of them yet, they are made with essential oils and the quality seems excellent. My favourite is definitely the ‘Rosegeranium’ soap because of all the tiny flowers – but I love citrus scents too, so the Orange soap is a close second. They are all wonderful!
If any of you guys are in London, I have heard amazing things about the Apple Market and these soaps show what lovely items you can buy! I will definitely taking a trip there myself on my next visit.
Hi everyone! Welcome to my first ever monthly favourites post. I decided in the new year to start creating monthly favourites as I love reading them myself and thought it could be a good way to incorporate new makeup into my life, as well as sharing some great makeup with you guys! Keep reading for some of my most-used products within the last month, some of which are brand new discoveries or rediscoveries!
When I had chosen my favourite products for the month, I realised that Benefit has been a particular love of mine! Three products made it into my favourites: their brand new mascara Roller Lash (you can see my review here), and two rediscoveries, their Watt’s Up! highlighter and cream shadow in Bikini-tini. The highlighter and shadow are both beautiful pearly shades, which look amazing on the skin and eyes. You can see Bikini-tini below, which I have used under liner for a pretty and natural daytime look:
I loved the NARS Virtual Domination palette this month and used the blushes and bronzer most days. You can see my full review for the palette here. I am also loving Soar lip pencil by MAC, a beautiful pinky-brown liner which really makes the lips stand out. I tend to wear this on its own or with a similar toned lipstick over the top, such as Charlotte Tilbury’s Penelope Pink or MAC Zen. Lastly, I loved Collection’s Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner, which is only £2.99 and amazing quality! The liner is deep black and stays put for ages, with an easy-to-use applicator. Below you can see Watt’s Up!, the Collection liner and Soar swatched left to right:
That’s everything for this month, I hope you enjoyed reading! Let me know if you love any of these products and any others you have been loving this month.
Hey guys! I was sent a few samples of the new Diorskin Star foundation to try. The description is “spectacular brightening. Weightless perfection. Lasting studio glow.” I have to say, I agree 100%! This is a really beautiful foundation, with medium to full coverage. It feels incredibly light on the skin and the shade “020 light beige” is perfect for my skin tone.
I will definitely be purchasing the full size bottle of this foundation, it really is lovely! It also lasts a really long time, I have worn this in both daytime as well as nights out and it looks amazing for any occasion. It is very natural-looking but gives your skin a flawless, glowing look.
If you guys have tried the foundation, let me know what you think!
December is coming, which means it’s nearly time to start opening our advent calendars! I was lucky enough to be spoiled with three this year: Lindt, Ciaté Mini Mani Month and Baylis & Harding 12 Days of Pampering. Here they are below:
The Ciaté and Lindt both have 25 doors, whereas the Baylis & Harding has 12. I had a Ciaté calendar last year and it was lovely, they cost £49 and contain 24 mini nail varnishes and one large one, with a mixture of colours, glitter and sequins. The Lindt calendar costs £10 and obviously contains lots of chocolate! I’m particularly excited for the Baylis & Harding calendar as it is new to me and the calendar itself is really beautiful, with a London townhouse design on the front. They cost £20 and contain 12 goodies to pamper yourself with, from shower gels to body lotion.
Let me know which calendar is your favourite and which calendars you’re getting this year!
