Finding The Perfect Shoes?!

Hi everyone! I have recently been on the lookout for the perfect pair of shoes to take me through summer and into autumn. Now, I love wearing my adidas in the day and a pair of heels on a night out, but I wanted to find something that worked for interviews, work, evenings out and for day-to-day wear. I think I’ve found them!

These Topshop beauties are £29 each and for Topshop, that’s pretty affordable – especially for a pair of shoes that are going to work for most occasions. The small, block heels means they add height without being uncomfortable, the open toe and straps adds a summery touch and the silver detailing adds a smart edge.

The name of these shoes is ‘MEGHAN Block Heel Sandals’ and they come in two colours, black and a blush pink. I ended up getting both because of the fact that a black pair of shoes will look amazing with so many outfits and never go out of style, but the blush pink are so pretty and summery too. I really couldn’t choose between them and for the price, I decided to take the plunge!

I can already see myself styling the black pair with jeans, smart dresses and workwear, and the pink pair looking beautiful with a pastel dress. From attending an interview to a summer wedding, these shoes are perfect – they are stylish and comfy in one (I didn’t think that was possible before now!)

If you’re a Topshop lover like I am then be sure to grab them whilst you can!

March Favourites!

Hello everyone! Today I’ll be sharing my March favourites with you. There is a mix of beauty and fashion favourites today, so let’s get started!

image

First up are these beauties from Topshop. I’ve been looking for an amazing pair of court shoes for ages, but none of them seemed to suit me! Finally I found these on Topshop’s website and I’m obsessed with them!

For beauty favourites, I have been loving the L’oreal Lumi Magique foundation in the shade Rose Pearl, with Revlon’s Photoready Skinlights in the shade Pink Light over the top. The two combined give a beautiful glow to the skin and look beautifully dewy. I’ve also been loving the Rouge Dior lipstick in shade 531, Rose Crinoline. It is a pretty, bright coral shade that is perfect for spring and summer.

Finally, the Victoria’s Secret body lotion in the Beach scent is brilliant! The spray applicator makes it so easy to use and the scent is lovely and fresh.

Summer Festival Style!

Hi everyone! I am in the middle of writing an article on festival style for a student newspaper and the other day my friend took some photographs of me for the article, featuring the outfits i’m going to be writing about. It may be a little early for a lot of you, especially here in the UK as summer is still quite far away! Even so, I can’t wait for it to get warmer and festival season to begin, so here are some of the photos!

As you can see, the outfits are all about small details and accessories, which I feel are so important for the festival season! My favourite outfit is probably the pink jumper and lace shorts. I hope you enjoyed this little preview!

February Favourites!

Hi guys! So sorry this post is late, I have had so much uni work to do over the last couple of weeks, but I really wanted to show you all my favourites from February anyway! Here they are:

image

My beauty favourites for February are Garnier’s BB Cream + Blur, Mac’s mineralise blush in Just a Wisp and Hoola bronzer by Benefit. The BB cream was a new purchase this month and I’m loving it, it is so easy to apply, feels light and looks lovely on. I use the “light” shade. The blush is another new purchase, and I’m in love! It is a beautiful, shimmery pale pink and highlights the cheeks as well as giving a pretty wash of colour – perfect for transitioning into Spring and Summer! Another product I’m loving is Benefit’s Hoola bronzer, which I rediscovered this month. It is a lovely natural shade to contour with and can be built up easily.

I’ve been using my St. Tropez bronzing mousse a lot this month, it looks so natural and gives a gorgeous wash of colour to the skin. My last beauty favourite is Batiste dry shampoo, which I’m sure many of you are familiar with! I have been trying to train my hair so that I don’t have to wash it as often, as I used to wash it every single day and I know how bad this is for your hair. I’m currently using the Tropical scent, which smells amazing!

My fashion favourite this month is these beauties from Topshop. They are just the cutest shoes ever! They cost £32 and are perfect for this season – I’ve been wearing them with pastel colours for a cute Spring look.

My final favourite is my new MacBook Air. It is so light and easy to use, perfect for my university assignments!

The Perfect Christmas Gift!

hi guys! Today my mom gave me an early Christmas present, a Swarovski stardust bracelet. They are so beautiful and i definitely think they are the perfect gift for any woman that loves sparkle, whether this is for a mother, sister, daughter, friend or girlfriend.

image

I got the single bracelet in clear and a size small, but they come in two sizes (small and medium), as well as a variety of colours including grey, purple, midnight blue and gold. I love the double-wrap versions of these bracelets too, but they seem to be slightly larger on my wrist and too loose for me.

You can find all the styles, sizes and colours on the Swarovski website. They really are stunning bracelets and for just £49 they make a beautiful gift!

The Perfect Winter Boot…

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all well. I have a confession to make.. I bought another pair of shoes (clearly I’m addicted)! I have a pair of tan Uggs already and find them so easy to wear, so decided to purchase a pair of their “Mini Bailey Bow” style in the colour Locomotive Grey. They are a beautiful lilac-grey colour with a bow on the back:image

They are so lovely, the colour of them is beautiful and the bows are just so cute! I also find Ugg boots last a long time, which is great because they are a little pricey. One thing I would say is that my other Ugg boots (which are a plain mini pair in tan) have a tab on the back so they are very easy to pull on. These don’t have them so they aren’t as easy to get on, but I suppose the tab wouldn’t work with the bow. Overall I am incredibly pleased with them and they look lovely, especially with jeans.

The Winter Must-Have

Hi everyone! Winter is fast approaching and it’s definitely time to start investing in this seasons key pieces. As always, a pair of heeled boots are a must-have this winter to keep warm whilst looking stylish. I bought these beauties for £50 from River Island and am in love with them. Topshop do some very similar for around £45 and New Look do some lovely cheaper alternatives.

I’ve been styling mine with dark high-waisted jeans and a cropped jumper, but they really do go with pretty much everything and I plan on trying them with a cute pastel dress to give a fierce edge to the outfit. They will go with skirts, shorts, tights, bare legs.. Anything goes when it comes to these boots! They are a perfect addition to anyone’s wardrobe. Try a pair with a law platform so they’re comfortable for daytime as well as night, like mine! Happy shopping!
